Your Guide to Seed Sowing
Firstly choose a patch of soil free from weeds, check the seed packet for preferred amount of sunlight. Fork over the soil to loosen it, and then firm soil gently with the back of a rake. Lastly rake over the top soil. Make a shallow drill using a hoe or trowel, usually the smaller the seed the shallower you will sow them. You can create curved or wavy drills for more of a natural look. Dampen the drills' base and sprinkle or place your seeds along the drill as thinly as you can. Finally fill the drill with soil, firm down and water.
