Our Waterside Café is a TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice winner — and once you've sat on our terrace with a coffee, watching the koi glide past in the pond below, you'll understand why.

Everything on our menu is made fresh on-site using quality ingredients, with as much sourced from local Devon producers as possible. We bake our own cakes, cook our own specials, and pride ourselves on genuinely homemade food.

Breakfast

Full English breakfasts, lighter bites, and freshly baked scones and delicious cakes — the perfect way to start a visit. Served Monday to Saturday from 9am and Sunday from 10am.

Lunch

A changing seasonal selection of freshly made hot and cold dishes, soups, sandwiches and daily specials. Our Sunday roasts are something of a local legend — booking ahead is wise.

Afternoon Tea

A proper Devon afternoon tea — finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and a selection of freshly baked treats and cakes. Perfect for birthdays, celebrations, or simply treating yourself. Call us to book.

Cakes & Drinks

Our cake counter has all your favourites and a delicious cake of the week. Pair a
slice with one of our speciality coffees, teas, or cold drinks and find your
favourite seat.

For families

Bow's Waterside Café is genuinely great for families. While you eat, the children can make the most of our free indoor and outdoor play areas — and of course, a trip to watch the fish and koi is always a highlight. High chairs available, children's menu options, and staff who are genuinely happy to see little ones.

Dog friendly

Well-behaved dogs are always welcome on our café terrace and covered dog area (with patio heating for the colder days). Bring the whole family — four-legged members included.
